Who Is The Webmaster?

If someone would have a week to observate of my life - like one does in social experiments or while watching wild animals - maybe they would describe me as a bit lazy, very punctual, partially desorganized, socialy awkward, and a shower singer. Some things I consider important about me are: my love for tomatoes, animals, indie, classical music and touching literature; huge dislike of seafood; my obssession with bicicles; the fact that I will always forget to water my plants until they are dying; Saint George; my son-dog Benny; my inconsistent passion for violin and piano; all of art.

I am a south-american christian twin girl born in 2005 who has troubles coming around adulthood, and many other things.

Q&A

Q: Favorite type of dog?

A: I'm very biased in saying this, but Yorkshires. Honestly, it would be depressing if I said anything else, because Benny, my dog of twelve years, is one - although it's honestly the truth, if only for that reason (if he were any other breed, it wouldn't make any difference, I'd still love him just the same). Now he's the perfect size to carry around (although he's a bit bigger than other Yorkies and a bit heavier), he likes to be around us and people often compliment him on being a "good boy". I also like Akitas and Border Collies, but for the looks and personalities of the breeds, as I have never interacted with either.

PS: You can find photos of Benny in the 'Gallery'.

Q: Are there any specific places or countries you'd like to travel to one day??

A: When I was a kid, my dream was to go to Disney, which I think is a pretty common dream for children. I also remember one time when my parents told us - my brother and me - that we were going to Bolivia in 2013. We were very excited, and I even drew us on an airplane with "BOLIVIA" written on it in slightly crooked letters, though we ended up not going, so I think I want to visit, just to make up for that time.

For most of my later years, I thought a lot about going to Egypt because I was fascinated by history and religion. Now I think I'd like to visit Japan or some northern European country that's cold and has snow, which I haven't seen yet, and also has a real fall atmosphere. This was spurred on when, months ago, I saw a video on YouTube of a girl bikepacking in Iceland for 18 days, and it just seemed like a wonderful experience.

More than just wanting to visit a specific place, I want to travel and stay in a country for some time without the rush of visiting a bunch of tourist attractions or famous places. I would like to sit in a cafe for an afternoon and watch the local people, eat the common food in cheap places, find galleries and hidden places that are not crowded, and buy books in different languages. It's something I regret not experiencing when I go on vacation, even though I've almost never traveled abroad.

Q: Do you have any favorite poems?

A: The most notable ones I've read are listed below, not in any particular order of preference:

- Death and Life of Severino by Joao Cabral de Melo Neto

- The Ballad of The Reading Gaol by Oscar Wilde

- The Lady-In-Waiting Suwo by Suo no Naishi

- a pirate's life for me by wearealsoboats

- I Taught Myself To Live Simply by Anna Akhmatova

- meeting god by wearealsoboats

- Sea Fever by John Masefield

- Eurydice by velvetblue

- the modern day messiah by wearealsoboats

- In Human Closeness There... by Anna Akhmatova

- when the angel comes by wearealsoboats

- they turned us to stone to admire us better by wearealsoboats

- whatever it takes by wearealsoboats

- Beauty by velvetblue

Q: #1 must-listen album?

A: I don't usually listen to complete albums. I prefer to pick out good songs from each one I like, but if I had to choose, it would probably be 'The Prince of Egypt Soundtrack' or 'Ella and Louis, 1954.'

Q: What's your favorite way to eat tomatoes?

A: I guess you read my about page lol. I prefer to eat tomatoes raw, not long after taking them out of the fridge, so they are still cold. To be honest, I don't think cooked tomatoes look very good, and the consistency is not appealing. I once saw a dish where they stuffed them with cheese - it was good, but strange. I also like them for lunch, as a sauce and as a salad. My favorite is when they're cut into tiny cubes, but I usually don't have the patience to cut them that way - I just cut them like apples.

Q: What's your current favorite manga?! Also, what's your favorite film?

A: I'm not currently reading any manga, but I started 'Slam Dunk' this year, and I liked it so far, even if I am only at the beginning of it. As for my favorite movie, I would say 'Whisper Of The Heart' by Studio Ghibli. It's certainly the one I've watched the most. As for non-animated ones, probably 'Dead Poets Society.'

Q: Do you have any New Year's resolutions/overall life goals?

A: I don't usually follow through with New Year's resolutions, or maybe mine are too mundane - be more productive, learn new things, exercise more, pick up a new language, etc. In January I started Russian and French on Duolingo and was pretty consistent for a while, until I dropped it. As for life goals, I really want to get accepted into university this year and to move out from my parent's house. To finally get into a relationship and to start getting serious with cycling. Also, I wish to get confident while driving, because though I got my license, I am too fearful to go out with the car.

Q: Is coding something you would only want as a hobby, or would you take it to a more professional level/setting? (sorry if you've talked about this before)

A: I really don't know. I am still deciding if I will follow through with the plan of applying for med school this year, but computer science / engineering was something that caught my eye. Sadly, I am not so good at math's of physics that I am confident enough for uni levels of calculations, so it's all still uncertain.
